At the last trump, the dead shall be raised incorruptible & we shall be changed

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”
– 1 Corinthians 15:51-53

There are 2 points to note about 1 Corinthians 15:51-53.

The 1st is that, though the Antichrist will make war against the “saints” for 3.5 years and prevail, Daniel 7:21 and Daniel 7:25 and Revelation 12:17, some of the saints will not be killed. As 1 Corinthians 15:51 puts it: not all shall sleep. This is confirmed in 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10.

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.”
– 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10

Therefore, the point to note is that the Antichrist will not reign over the entire world. He will certainly be more powerful than all, Revelation 13:7. He will overrun many nations, Daniel 11:41-42. And he will break several nations into pieces, Daniel 7:23, creating enclaves.

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
– Revelation 13:7

“He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.”
– Daniel 11:41-42

“Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.”
– Daniel 7:23

But he will not have control over the whole world. There will not be a “one world government”, as some pundits say.

This is also implied by Revelation 18:4 and Zechariah 2:7 and Jeremiah 51:6-9.

Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.”
– Jeremiah 51:6

“We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.”
– Jeremiah 51:9

If the Antichrist were to control the whole world, there would be no place to flee to.

Another thing to be said about Jeremiah 51:6 is that non Christians must certainly leave Mystery Babylon, or else become Christian, if they are to save their souls.

“Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.”
– Jeremiah 51:6

The 2nd point about 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 is that all Christians will be born again, given a new incorruptible and immortal body.

“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
– John 3:7

Those who are dead will be resurrected, and those who are alive will be transformed. This is the reaping of Revelation 14, sometimes known as the rapture.

“And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.”
– Revelation 14:14-16

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
– 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
– Matthew 24:29-31

I believe no one will be reaped against their will. For instance, unlike that which is portrayed in Left Behind (2014), babies will not be reaped.

Furthermore, one must genuinely want to go and be ready to go.

“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
– Luke 9:62

Some people who are rich might hesitate because they would like to remain human in order to spend their riches.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
– Matthew 19:21-23

Some might hesitate because they would like to get married or to continue their marriage.

“For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.”
– Matthew 22:30

“But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.”
– 1 Corinthians 7:32-34

In my opinion, though I have heard some Christian pastors say otherwise, a person who becomes properly Christian during the Millennial Reign will get to go to heaven when he or she dies, and onto the heavenly Jerusalem later on. My point is, a person is not necessarily damned if he or she is not reaped, i.e. left behind.

But of course, in this case, first, that person must somehow survive the Antichrist. To survive the Antichrist, that person must as least know which nations will fight for the Antichrist, and which nations will fight against the Antichrist.

Furthermore, that person must understand the mark of the beast and avoid it, and figure out the mystery of Babylon and escape the hour of her judgement.

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
– 1 Thessalonians 5:3

Ideally, one should be properly Christian now, and look forward to the reaping. The reason is, as a Christian, no matter where you reside and no matter what happens, ultimately you will live.

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
– 1 John 2:15-17

“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.”
– John 12:25

Christians who remain stedfast in the faith during the great tribulation will receive an incorruptible, immortal body, and the opportunity to reign with Jesus Christ during the Millennial Reign.

If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us
– 2 Timothy 2:12

“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
– Revelation 20:6

Those who betray Jesus Christ during the great tribulation – and for sure some will – will lose both their lives and their souls.

“For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.”
– 2 Peter 2:21

“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.”
– Psalms 82:6-8
