A species CANNOT originate by means of natural selection

Scientifically, Darwinian evolution and its modern version, gene selection theory, are defective in principle and deficient in evidence. Let me explain.

Charles Darwin’s 1859 book, On the Origin of Species by means of Natural Selection, suggests, as its title reads, a species can originate by means of natural selection. This is the crux of the theory of Darwinian evolution. It is equally the crux of the modern version of evolution that Richard Dawkins advocates, gene selection theory, made popular by his book, The Selfish Gene. Ultimately, a proponent of Darwinism says, man was not created by God in his image as Genesis explains, but rather man was a result of natural selection, an evolution from ape.

Genesis 1:20-31 and Genesis 6:19-22 imply, every creature that lives or has ever lived is of a certain kind – a certain species, in the nomenclature of biology. Every beast of the land is of a certain kind. Every fowl of the air is of a certain kind. Every fish of the sea is of a certain kind. Every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth is of a certain kind. Even man is of a certain kind – mankind.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
– Genesis 1:26-27

“And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
– Genesis 1:21

“And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
– Genesis 1:24

“And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive. And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them. Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.”
– Genesis 6:19-22

In Hebrew, the word for man, or a human being, is אָדָם (adam). According to Genesis 2:7, God created the first man, Adam, out of the dust of the ground. It so happens, in Hebrew, the word for soil is אֲדָמָה (adama).

The story of Noah in Genesis implies also that every kind produces offspring after its own. To ensure life would replenish on earth, Noah was not asked to gather 1 creature of every kind, because 1 creature alone cannot propagate. Nor was Noah asked to gather the male of 1 kind and the female of another. Rather, Noah was asked to gather 2 of every sort, a male and a female of every kind. Implied here is that it is impossible for a new kind to originate in nature.

Thus far, the empirical evidence strongly supports this. For example, if one mates a female horse with a male donkey, the offspring will be a mule. A mule is always sterile. A mule cannot mate with another mule to propagate itself in nature. Likewise, if one mates a male lion with a female tiger, the result will be a liger. A liger is also sterile and cannot propagate itself in nature. And similarly, if one mates a female horse with a male zebra, the offspring, a zorse, will again be sterile. And so on, the examples go.

Always, the mating of two different species will produce an offspring that is sterile, if at all. Indeed, I think it is like this by design, because the Bible describes the mating of 2 different kinds as “confusion”, Leviticus 18:23.

In nature, a horse and a donkey would not normally come together and mate. Nor would a lion and tiger. Nor would a horse and zebra. The phenomena is most unnatural. I suppose it only happens because it is encouraged or induced by man, or by wicked spirits.

This is not to say that DNA cannot be artificially manipulated in a laboratory to produce a chimera, if one understands enough of the science of DNA. I recall in the news, someone actually did mix the DNA of an incandescent jellyfish with that of a goldfish to come up with a goldfish that glows. Furthermore, the ancient Atlanteans might well have engineered satyrs, minotaurs and other weird human-animal hybrids, using CRISPR like technology, given to them by evil spirits. What I mean is that, in nature, a new species cannot come about through the process of “natural” selection; for such a creature goes against the laws of nature, the design of God.

Scientifically, when a male mates with a female, the offspring inherits some of the genes of the male and some of the genes of the female. Normally, an offspring will not have any new genetic information, and so the offspring will necessarily be of the same kind as its parents. Occasionally, a gene will mutate or miscopy. It is through mutation and phenotypical selection that Darwinians suggest a new species might originate. This is the crux of the idea of evolution.

For humans, the colour of one’s skin is an example of genetic mutation. Other examples are hair colour, eyesight, lung capacity, muscle mass, and that sort of thing.

Another type of genetic mutation of course is cancer, something that will cause a person, or a creature, to die.

Let’s suppose for argument’s sake that it is entirely possible for an offspring to mutate so much that to all intents and purposes it has become a different species.

You see, in order for man to have evolved from ape, at some point in time, a male ape and a female ape would have had to birth a man, or a woman, the very first of mankind. Logically, for every species, there must always be a first one, and the first one, obviously, will be alone. This first man, or woman, would have had to mate with an ape, in order to reproduce, simply because he, or she, was the first one.

However, as I have shown earlier through numerous examples, whenever a male of 1 species mates with a female of another, the offspring will always be sterile. It follows from this that the first man, or woman, in a population of apes, could not have reproduced past 1 generation to pass on human or human like genes to subsequent generations. For this reason, the theory of evolution is defective.

To be sure, the ideas of gene propagation, mutation and selection are sound. What is unsound is the idea that a new species can originate through the process of natural selection, as the title of Charles Darwin’s book reads: “On the Origin of Species by means of Natural Selection”.

Now, I have not even touched the fact that Darwinians, including Richard Dawkins, cannot explain how life came into being in the first place. Scientists simply believe, without evidence, that it all happened by chance. To this day, no scientist has managed to create animate life out of inanimate matter. They have not, because they cannot. They cannot, because God is the source of all life: God is the very origin of species.
